Inspired by Nature:
The Story Behind Condo Carey
Condo Carey gets its name from the beloved hawksbill sea turtles, a favorite of the owners. During turtle hatching season in Punta Mita, the owners’ border collie, Khala, discovered newborn turtles on the beach and quickly noticed that seagulls were trying to prey on them. In an inspiring act of care, Khala stood guard by the nest, bravely chasing away the birds to protect the baby turtles as they made their way to the ocean.

Moved by this memorable moment and their passion for sea turtles, the owners named their residence Condo Carey. The logo features a turtle in tribute to this story. Although hawksbill turtles aren’t native to the area, they remain the owners’ favorite, making the name a fitting symbol of their love for nature and the spirit of Punta Mita.
